ForaCare, Inc. and PointClickCare are announcing an integration of FORA medical devices and the PointClickCare platform. Vital signs and weight measurements are now delivered instantly and accurately from FORA devices to medical profiles in the PointClickCare Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform via wireless technology. This expedites access to accurate clinical information, which helps initiate care plan interventions that reduce hospital readmissions.
MOORPARK, Calif. – ForaCare, Inc., the leading provider of medical device integration systems for the long-term and post-acute care (LTPAC) industry, announced the integration of iFORA CS app and PointClickCare, the market leader of cloud-based software platform for senior care. With this integration, FORA® medical devices will now be able to deliver a resident’s weight and vital signs directly to the PointClickCare EHR platform.
“We are excited about our integration with PointClickCare,” said James Hsieh, ForaCare, Director of Sales and Business Development. “By eliminating manual entry of vital signs and weight information, providers are freed from hand documentation, improving accuracy and expediting the flow of critical information from the bedside to the resident’s electronic chart. Furthermore, PointClickCare’s clinical application, Point of Care, can also be accessed from the FORA® Mobile Care Station touchscreen tablet, giving customers a mobile kiosk option that can reduce overall hardware investment.”
